Our pastor, Michael Michalk, has some interesting connections to the history of our Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, which celebrates 176 years in 2023. He is descended from the second president Friedrich Conrad Dietrich Wyneken of the Missouri Synod: 1850–1864
